Don't worry all you Hrithik Roshan fans out there, the actor hasn't injured himself. But what is Hrithik doing in a wheelchair then? The reason is to prepare for his role in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, "Guzarish." It's not surprising that Hrithik would research for a film role knowing what a dedicated and serious actor he is.
Hrithik will be playing a paraplegic in the film, which co-stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. To fully get into the character, Hrithik has a wheelchair which he can practice with at home. Hrithik wants to be fully prepared to look convincing when playing a paralyzed man. Reportedly that's not all Hrithik is doing to prepare for the role. He is also reading up on paraplegia and watching videos to understand and study their mannerisms and behavior.
With the great performances Hrithik gave in "Lakshya" and "Koi Mil Gaya" this film, like the others, should be an interesting watch.
Although it hasn't yet been confirmed, the rumor is that Aishwarya will be playing the role of a nurse who falls in love with Hrithik's character. However, the twist is that he doesn't want to live his life as a paralyzed man so he asks her to help kill himself via euthanasia. Some heavy duty material included puts Hrithik's studying up for the part even more into perspective.
